Despite planned investments in the factory building in Menen and a renovation into a flax museum and wood training campus, the focus of expansion is no longer on Belgium. Based on that philosophy, last week the veneer company of Sonae Arauco, one of the largest business groups in Portugal, was acquired. In time, this will enable us to produce an additional 10 million square metres of veneer sheets. Sounds like music to our ears...
